According to the previous agreement with peer educators from the Municipality of IlidĹľa, Novi Grad Sarajevo, Višegrad, East IlidĹľa and Ilijaš, a Let’s Sail Together! methodological training was held on Saturday at 11.00 AM. The workshop was attended by high school students that had the opportunity to acquire knowledge and introduce themselves with the Let’s Sail Together! methodology in previous peer training workshops. The training was held at the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA in IlidĹľa.
Through interaction, presentations, different examples, the workshop participants improved their previously acquired knowledge, but also learned new information. During the workshop their interest in the topics such as sexual and reproductive health, healthy lifestyle, different gender roles, love emotions, etc. could not go unnoticed. This training pointed out that youth have to constantly keep up with information, be certain in themselves, listen carefully and involve participants of Let’s Sail Together! in interactive discussions.
Through joint effort, educated and informed youth know how to motivate youth to take preventive protection measures in time and to discuss sexuality, contraception and similar topics without inhibitions.
