PRO – Future (Info)

Trust-Understanding-Responsibility for the Future (PRO-Future) a project of the United States Agency for International Development is implemented by the humanitarian and development agency Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in partnership with the Institute for Youth Development KULT, Caritas BiH, Forum of Tuzla Citizens, Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly of Banja Luka, Interreligious Council of BiH and the Nansen Dialogue Center Mostar.

The main goal of the project is to work with key stakeholders on achieving long-term and sustainable peace and build mutual trust and understanding among citizens of different ethnicities and religions. These are the necessary conditions for creating an environment conducive to a better life for all citizens and peoples in BiH. Therefore, the project involves key stakeholders from the political, religious and media spheres, and various groups of citizens, in an attempt to ensure that reconciliation and improved trust lead to positive social change all across BiH.

The Institute for Youth Development KULT is in charge of administering small grants for youth, CSOs and organizations of victims of war.

Activities are implemented in 71 municipalities/cities in BiH, and the project activities include youth, NGOs, women’s organizations, religious communities and leaders, political leaders, media and different levels of BiH government, whose joint efforts will contribute to more understanding among the citizens and peoples in BiH.
 
Municipalities/cities where PRO-Future is active are: Banja Luka, Bihać, Bosanska Krupa, Bosanski Petrovac, Bratunac, Breza, Bugojno, Čelić, Čitluk, Derventa, Doboj, Doboj Jug, Domaljevac-Šamac, Drvar, Foča (FBiH), Foča (RS), Glamoč, Goražde, Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje, Gračanica, Gradačac, Istočno Novo Sarajevo, Jablanica, Jajce, Jezero, Kalesija, Kiseljak, Kladanj, Kozarska Dubica, Kupres (FBiH), Livno, Ljubuški, Lopare, Maglaj, Modriča, Mostar, Mrkonjić Grad, Nevesinje, Novi Grad (RS), Novi Travnik, Novo Goražde, Odžak, Osmaci, Pelagićevo, Petrovo, Prijedor, Prozor-Rama, Rudo, Šamac, Sanski Most, Sapna, Sarajevo-Centar, Široki Brijeg, Sokolac, Srebrenica, Stolac, Teočak, Tešanj, Teslić, Trebinje, Trnovo (FBiH), Trnovo (RS), Ugljevik, Usora, Vareš, Višegrad, Vlasenica, Vukosavlje, Zavidovići, Zenica, Žepče and Zvornik.
