The Institute for Youth Development KULT, with the support of Alternativa d.o.o. successfully completed construction work on repairing the roof of the Bili? family home, which was made uninhabitable during the May floods. Repairing the roof was essential this winter, to ensure that the concrete structure of the house is protected from the elements.
– “After a long search for a donor, the Institute finally encountered the kind people from Alternativa d.o.o who performed the repairs quickly and responsibly which was a matter of great urgency for the Bili? family. Now that the roof has been repaired, attention must turn to repairing the interior of the house to enable the Bili? family to move back into their home, and have normal living conditions”, said Mirela Ajanovi?, project coordinator at the Institute for Youth Development KULT.
All the construction work on the outside has been successfully completed, and the donors and the Institute will continue with efforts to provide the Bili? family with basic furniture and appliances. The repairs were funded by a donation made by the employees of the Centre for Hepato-gastroenterology in Sarajevo.
