Public Hearings Held in All Ten FBiH Cantons

Public hearings to consider the Draft Law on Volunteering of FBiH were held from 7 to 18 May 2012, in Bihac, Tomislavgrad, Siroki Brijeg, Mostar, Gorazde, Domaljevac, Tuzla, Zenica, Travnik and Sarajevo. More than 200 participants were present. Representatives of civil society, cantonal assemblies and cantonal commissions for coordination of youth issues welcomed the adoption of the legal framework.

A public hearing held in Sarajevo on 18 May 2012 ended the public hearing period arranged to consider the Draft Law on Volunteering of FBiH. All obtained suggestions regarding amendments and changes to the Draft Law will be discussed and taken into consideration upon developing the proposal of the Law.
