3 Project Proposals Developed at 6th JUPPO Project Module

The 6th training module within the “Expert training and networking for prevention of addiction in working with youth in BiH 2014-2016” project that gathered 15 representatives of civil society organisations in Bosnia and Herzegovina is completed. The training was attended by a representative of the Institute for Youth Development KULT.

The module entitled “Joint responsibility project management” was facilitated by the trainer Eni Kurtovi? that introduced the participants with the basic principles and phases of developing project proposals and guided them through the process of developing 3 joint project proposals.

The developed project proposals aim to initiate activities in establishing communication mechanisms and coordination of the governmental and the non-governmental sector in the field of preventing addiction and promoting healthy lifestyles among youth in BiH. The potential projects relate to organising the final conference within the JUPPO training, organising a youth camp and developing a web-platform for exchange of experiences and good practices among all the key actors that focus on preventing youth addiction n BiH.

The participants are very pleased with the training. They claim to have learned a lot and that they will be able to implement the acquired knowledge and skills in their further work. “In this module we learned a lot about writing projects and hopefully in the following period we will additionally work on the project proposals we developed in order to prepare them as applications for potential donors that we also identified in this module. I believe that at least one of those project proposals will eventually acquire the support of donors and be implemented”, stated Adnan Alikadi?, the representative of the SOS Kinderdorfs in BiH organisation.

As a part of the regular activities, the module participants were visited by Mr. Ognjen Zeki?, the Head of Department for Drug Suppression of the Ministry of Security of BiH, and the member of the Board of Directors of the JUPPO Project.

The final module within this project, entitled “Pedagogy of dance and movement” will be held in February 2016.
