Disciplinary Centre Holds Lecture at SPAJALICA

Another one in line of lectures by the Disciplinary Centre was held this week at the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA. The lecture on topic “What does punishment look like?” was attended by the students from the Third, Eight and Ninth Elementary school from the Municipality of IlidĹľa. The students were introduced with the notion, purpose and the aim of punishment. There are appropriate legal measures prescribed for the consequences of the negative, criminal and bad behaviour that is harmful for others, including punishments in exceptional instances.

The students were also presented with the measures that are ruled for underage persons; warning measure and directions, court admonitions, special obligations and directing the person to an educational/a disciplinary centre, and the measure of increased parental or adopter surveillance and legal measures.

year after year, there is an increasing number of underage offenders in Bosnia and Herzegovina and that is why lectures such as this one are extremely important for elementary school students and teachers, but also for the society in general.
