Children from School of Friendship Visit Sarajevo Museum and Renovated City Hall

Our little participants of the School of Friendship spent this beautiful warm day learning about the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They spent the day not only playing, but also learning about our cultural-historical heritage. The children spent four hours visiting the Sarajevo Museum and the renovated City Hall.

We had a brief introduction into the history of Sarajevo, its origins, development and improvement. We watched videos showing cars, people, objects, factories throughout history. The kind museum curator answered the questions of the curious children, trying to explain to them the historical period that they are yet to learn about in school.

The beautiful weather motivated the children to behave in buildings of cultural and historical significance so well that they were praised by the staff.

Song and laughter brightened the day of the bus drivers and other people on the bus, curiously watching the cheerful group of children.

Happy with what they saw, they excitedly told their parents, who were waiting for them in front of SPAJALICA, about their day.
