Abdulkadir Berbi? is the winner of the photo contest “Show You Can, Show You Know” organized by the Institute for Youth Development KULT for the International Youth Day on their FB page.
The aim of organizing the contest was to promote the importance of youth activism, and Abdulkadir Berbi?, a Red Cross volunteer, won a tablet for the photograph he had sent.
“Youth activism is very important and necessary. Youth should indeed be an active part of the society and in this manner change the situation and not wait for someone to do this for them. I advise youth to involve themselves in any form of volunteering for the welfare of our community and thus become the change they wish to see in the world” – stated Abdulkadir upon receiving his reward.
Numerous photos were submitted for the photo contest held from August 12 to 19, 2016, in which youth promoted their activities.
