First Meeting of Sectoral Working Group for Developing Sectoral Planing Document Held

As a part of the programming process of the IPA II for the 2016-2017 period for the IPA II, the sectoral working group for Employment through Education and Social Policies held their first working meeting.

The sectoral group includes representatives of the relevant key institutions for the IPA II sector in BiH, civil society participants (including social partners) and interested donors. Belma Gijo, the representative of the Insitute for Youth Development KULT, is a member of this working group.

At the meeting, representatives of the NIPAK office clarified the process of preparing a sectoral planing document for 2016-2017, as well as the role and responsibility of the sectoral working group in this process. An estimate of the development of the sector for the sectoral approach was presented, and a SWOT analysis was conducted. The SWOT analysis will be used for defining strategic approaches and interventions that will be defined in the next meeting planned to be held in January.

The sectoral planing documents are working documents for the requirements of the IPA II programming that represent a situation in the IPA sector and provide analysis of the readiness of the sector for introducing a sectoral approach within the IPA II and provide a review of the measures and activities required to be realized in the following years.

The Institute for Youth Development KULT will actively engage in developing the strategic plan document for competitiveness, innovations and local development.
