Ministry of Finance of FBiH and Institute Continue Cooperation

During the conference “20 years after Dayton: Prospects for Progress in Reforms in BiH” , dedicated to reform prospects in BiH and held on November 16 and 17, in Washington D.C., Jasmin Beši?, Executive Director of the Institute for Youth Development KULT, spoke to Ms. Jelka Mili?evi?, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister in the Government of FBiH.

During their conversation, Beši? emphasized the importance of the reform process in the domain of employment and self-employment, in order to reduce the rate at which youth are leaving BiH, and spoke of the initiative BH Business Site as a successful model of cooperation among all stakeholders. Beši? commended the budgetary incentives, which the Government of FBiH intends to increase, and pointed out the necessity of investing in promising branches of the economy and well-planned youth entrepreneurship programs. The conversation ended with Minister Mili?evi? showing willingness to cooperate with the Institute, with the intention to establish partner relations in order to define measures tailored to the needs and abilities of young people.
