Jasmin Beši? from Institute for Youth Development KULT Discusses Role of NGO Sector in Economic Reforms Process of BiH in Washington

Organised by The Center for Transatlantic Relations and the America-Bosnia Foundation (ABF), a conference entitled “20 Years after Dayton: Path of Bosnia and Herzegovina towards Reformation” will be held in Washington at the University of John Hopkins on 16 and 17 November.

   

The conference will be attended by a great number of high officials from the USA, the European Union and Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of the diplomatic choir, financial institutions such as the MMF, EBRD or the World Bank and representatives of the academic community and the NGO sector. Among others, the conference will be addressed by Denis Zvizdi?, the President of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Fadil Novali?, the Prime Minister of FBiH, Željka Cvijanovi?, the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, and Valentin Inzko, the High Representative of the International Community in BiH.

On the 20th anniversary of signing the Dayton Agreement, the future of the country, necessary reforms and the path of  BiH towards the European Union and the NATO will be discussed.

Jasmin Beši?, the Executive Director of the Institute for Youth Development KULT, will speak at the conference. He will speak about the role of the non-governmental sector in the processes of the economic reform in our country with particular emphasis to providing support to youth employment and entrepreneurship as a part of the solution to unemployment in BiH. He will also talk about the achievements of the institute for Youth Development KULT and the cooperation with the government and the economic sector in the areas of employment and entrepreneurship.
