Institute and Federal Ministry Of Development, Entrepreneurship And Crafts Sign Agreement on Promoting Strategic Youth and Women’s Entrepreneurship

The Federal Ministry Of Development, Entrepreneurship And Crafts and the Institute for Youth Development KULT signed a collaboration Agreement on promoting youth and women’s entrepreneurship. The contracting parties saw the inevitability of establishing a partnering dialogue with the objective of solving issues in the youth and women’s entrepreneurship sector and implementing legal acts and incentives in youth and women’s entrepreneurial accomplishment.

Current problems and needs preventing further development in youth and women’s entrepreneurship, and which request a collaboration between the government and the non-government sector, are primarily reflected in the following:

1) Need for constant promotion of FBiH government choice policies for consistent support and incentives to youth and women’s entrepreneurship.

2) Need for amendments in general and specific criteria on manner and procedure of fund allocation in youth and women’s entrepreneurship projects.

3) Youth, including youth organisations and the public, are underinformed on measures the FBiH government is taking in order to improve youth entrepreneurship.

The programme aims to create a basis for a sustainable youth and women’s entrepreneurship development in FBiH, through self-employment incentives for youth and women and a grater and easier involvement in entrepreneurship and new vacancies.

The collaboration reflects in creating an environment directed towards establishing and improving institutional care mechanisms for youth and women’s entrepreneurship in BiH.

The Ministry has thus far provided full support to youth, especially through financial support for start-up businesses with entrepreneurship as a solution to the unemployment issue. By signing this agreement, the Federal Ministry Of Development, Entrepreneurship And Crafts fully supports the activities of the Institute contributing the youth-intended processes and programmes development.
