Orange Day – Protect Yourself From Virtual Space Violence

July 25, Orange Day in prevention of violence against women and girls;

Do you know what Internet violence is? Are you a victim of virtual violence? How do you protect and defend yourself?

The Institute for Youth Development KULT, One World Foundation – One World Platform for Southeast Europe and Ĺľenskaposla.ba portal are inviting you to a media violence prevention workshop. Is virtual real workshop will be held on July 25 2014 within the frame of Orange Day in prevention of violence against women and girls.

Orange Day is an initiative by the UNiTE youth network and the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in raising awareness on the need for further efforts towards respecting this human right. Orange Day is marked all over the world on each 25^th of the month. In this month, the Institute and the One World Foundation – Platform for Southeast Europe prioritise virtual space and black market violence.   

#jelivirtualnostvarno (Is Virtual Real) workshop will provide information on violence in this context, help you recognize virtual violence and learn to protect yourself. The opportunity for youth to socialize in an interactive environment will provide a chance to develop action initiatives in Internet violence prevention.

The workshop will be held on July 25 2014 at 14:00 at the Educational-Leisure Centre Spajalica (Banjska ul. 2, IlidĹľa).
