On Friday, 25 October 2013, a meeting was held between Mr. Milovan Topalovi?, Mayor of Laktaši Municipality, and Jasmin Beši?, Executive Director of the Institute for Youth Development KULT, accompanied by a group of youth officers from throughout BiH. Mr. Topalovi? used this opportunity to present the established youth policy mechanisms in Laktaši Municipality.
Institute Director Beši? emphasized the importance of the Institute’s programmes and pointed out the significance of their positive effects on youth lives in BiH, and beyond. This meeting was attended by a youth officer from Laktaši Municipality, Sanela Ratkovi?, who presented in detail youth work activities in Laktaši and their cooperation with the Youth Centre.
Both parties gladly agreed with the conclusion that they should take joint initiatives in the youth sector field.
After the meeting, all present parties visited the Youth Centre in Laktaši, where they had a chance to see its work conditions and the activities it is involved in.
