How To Fight Human Trafficking on IlidĹľa?

After completing the sucessful training for peer educators, conducted by the Institute for Youth Development KULT in cooperation with the German development agency GIZ, peer educators began their youth work with young people from their local communities. Peer educators from IlidĹľa Municipality and Stari Grad Sarajevo Municipality, Mirnesa Arifi? and Hajrudin Sola, led two educative peer workshops in the last week of September on the problem of human trafficking and ways of dealing with it. Institute volunteers and peer educators spent two days in the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA, learning about the most effective ways of preventing this problem. The workshop offered the participants a chance to get acquainted with the problems of human trafficking, its frequency and ways of spotting it and reacting accordingly. They led a debate during the workshop and the film Sisters, dealing with this topic, shown during the workshop, also awoke their interest.
