On 7 May, a ceremonial presentation of certificates to Active Citizen training participants was held in the facilities of the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA.
Active Citizens is a project carried out by the British Council in BiH, in cooperation with the Institute for Youth Development KULT. Active Citizens is a program from the field of international dialogue and global social connection. The vision this program promotes is that of a world in which young people will recognize their potential and try to get involved in the development process of their community, together with other members of the community, at local and international levels. The Active Citizens program is being carried out in more than 30 countries across the globe, in cooperation with state institutions and local partners.
We hope that active citizens will continue to be active in their communities and thus help improve the position of the youth. In the near future, the training participants should complete social action projects in their own communities as well.
