Thank you for the great response and your support!

Our young people have not failed the system, the system has failed them. Ironically, although they stand for an inappropriately treated group, these young persons are actually the ones who will be leading us upon finding our way out of this nightmare. The International Youth Day has been officially celebrated since 2000, and yesterday, on 12 August 2012, it served as the opportunity for the Institute to lead the youth in their attempt to raise their voice and passionately speak about the needs, problems and constraints they have been facing as young persons. A large number of young people who participated in the symbolic performance, highlights the desire to see changes in the course of improving their position in society. Young people spoke about the shortcomings of the existing formal education system, employment system and housing policies, failure to ensure the recognition of non-formal education, the lack of space for creative expressions and spending time doing meaningful things, which deserve priority treatment.

Apart from the activists from the Institute, this event was attended by the activists from the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA, Youth Council of the Municipality of Stari Grad, the Association of Linguists and other individuals, including the activists from Banja Luka and Novi Sad who came to Sarajevo explicitly to support this initiative.

Dear activists, thank you for the great response and your support.
