Eight professors from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University visited on 25 May the Institute for Youth Development KULT and the Educational-Leisure Centre SPAJALICA. We welcomed Prof. Sanford Moscowitz, Department of Management, Sarah Pruett, English as a Second Language Coordinator, Prof. Kelly Kraemer, Peace Studies, Madhu Mitra, Department of English Language and Literature, Prof. Christi Siver, Political Science, Theresa Johnson, Department of Education, Noreen Herzfeld, Theology and Computer Science, and Nick Hayes, Department of Critical Thinking. In April 2012, KULT signed an agreement on student internship arrangements with the Citizens’ Association “Nešto više”. Our welcome intern is Molly Ann Kuisle, a fourth year student of Environmental Management Studies at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, Minnesota.
Our guests from Minnesota showed a great deal of interest in the problems that young people have been facing but also the BiH society. We discussed legal solutions that are directly related to young people and youth organising, volunteering, education and employment systems and their implementation. After being introduced to the activities undertaken by the Institute for Youth Development KULT, the guests praised the success that is being achieved day by day. SPAJALICA has been recognized as an important centre for socializing and sharing experiences with notable guests from all around the world, such as Minnesota, Germany, New York, Qatar…
