Human Rights for All

Institute KULT celebrated the 10 December – International Human Rights Day with a one-day peer education for youth from IlidĹľa and East IlidĹľa. The high school students were introduced with the notion of human and youth rights in an original and interesting manner at the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA by the volunteers of Institute KULT who are enrolled in law studies. The General Assembly of United Nations brought the Universal Declaration of Human Rights at their assembly of 10 December 1948. Pointing out the significance of the document for the entire mankind, the 10 December is celebrated as the International Human Rights Day. During the education, topics related to human rights history were presented, along with their cataloguing and the list of rights guaranteed by the BiH Constitution and the most important international and European documents implemented in our country. Particular attention was provided for youth rights and how they are exercised in BiH. The participants of peer education were introduced with the relationship between volunteerism and human rights and were invited to involve actively in the social processes at their communities.
