During the 13th session of the Commission for Finance and Budget of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, the representatives discussed the audit reports on the financial operations of the institutions in BiH in 2014, with a “qualified opinion with emphasis of matter paragraph”.
According to the auditor’s reports, the following institutions received the aforementioned opinion: Ministry of Defense of BiH, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, the Identification Documents, Data Exchange and Evidence Agency of BiH, Labour and Employment Agency of BiH and the Office for Foreign Affairs of BiH.
Also discussed was the auditor’s report on the financial operations of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH in 2014, which was given a positive opinion with emphasis of matter paragraph by the Audit Office of the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After discussing the reports, it was concluded that the Collective opinion on auditor’s reports on the financial operations of the institutions of BiH for 2014 will be prepared for one of the upcoming sessions of the Commission, and forwarded to the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH. The Collective opinion will contain proposals of conclusions whose goal is to improve efficiency and eliminate the irregularities noted in the auditor’s reports for the institutions of BiH, which were discussed during today’s session.
