Youth initiatives are at the core of positive changes in society and play a key role in shaping a better future. Young people, with their energy, passion, and innovative ideas, possess incredible potential to drive positive social change. Intiatives give them an opportunity to share new ideas and solutions for the social problems and challenges they see in their communities.
Filip Spasojević, a proactive young man from Teslić, is one of the participants of the Learn, Think and Act! training who launched their own initiatives. His project involved filming video tutorials to help young people navigate the red tape associated with applying for their first ID, driver’s license or passport.
Video instructions provide a clear, step-by-step guide to help young people apply for their first documents. They not only simplify administration but also boost young people’s confidence in navigating similar processes. Filip’s initiative also included a study visit which encouraged youth to meet and connect with peers from other local communities. The young participants shared experiences, built relationships, and cooperated with their peers.
The initiative started with Filip’s vision for making real and impactful change. His initiative allowed young participants to develop skills like communication, teamwork, and leadership.
This initiative is a great example of how young people can help their peers and build communities that will allow them to realize their potential.
The initiative is implemented in partnership with the Association for Community Development, Improvement and Support from Teslić, with mentoring and financial support from the Institute for Youth Development KULT.
