Six New Signatories: A Growing Network of Companies Putting Human Rights at the Centre of Their Work

In October and November, six new companies and institutions in BiH were formally presented with Charters on Business and Human Rights, as part of an initiative promoting socially responsible business practices.

By signing the Charter, these organizations committed to aligning their business practices with international standards and to actively contributing to a fairer, more responsible, and sustainable society. The message is clear: ethical and responsible business is essential for long-term success, and respect for human rights must be standard practice, not the exception.

Charters were signed by the following companies and institutions: the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Cantonal Centre for Social Work, EKI Microcredit Foundation, EKI Microcredit Company, the Cantonal Board of the Independent Union of Primary Education Workers of Sarajevo Canton and the Independent Union of Primary Education Workers of the Federation of BiH, PROCEDO d.o.o., and Farmavita.

This initiative is part of the project “Improving Human Rights Corporate Accountability in BiH”, funded by the European Union in BiH and implemented by the Institute for Youth Development KULT, in partnership with the Commerce Trade and Services Trade Union of BiH and the Association of Families of Children and Persons with Developmental Disabilities “Dajte nam šansu.”

We welcome companies, institutions, and local communities across BiH to join and help build a business environment where respect for human rights is a core value.
