On 20 February 2013, the Youth Council of Maglaj Municipality was established. The members of this Youth Council are the following Youth Associations: Josip Broz Tito Maglaj, Dictum factum, Rise up and Echo Maglaj. The Statute was adopted, members of the managing body were appointed, the founding documents were signed and the action plan for the upcoming period was made. Naida Karabegovi? was elected President of the Council.



 

Youth Councils from five Municipalities (Vogoš?a, Novi Grad Sarajevo, Novo Sarajevo, Stari Grad Sarajevo and Ilidža) have established the Youth Council of Sarajevo Canton, thus Sarajevo Canton has finally got a partner in pursuing youth work related activities. The Founding Assembly was held on 12 February during which the governing bodies of the Youth Council were appointed and the Statute was passed. Saud Kari? was elected the President of this association.



 

The Founding Assembly of the Youth Council of the Municipality of Teo?ak was held on 13 February 2013, and it was attended by the following youth associations:



  • Karate klub Teo?ak

  • Kung fu wu shu klub Tigar Teo?ak

  • Stonoteniski klub Teo?ak

  • UdruĹľenje mladih Teo?ak


Following the discussion and after considering the proposals, the Statute of the Youth Council was passed and the members of the governing body were appointed. Mr. Emir Rami? was elected the President of the Youth Council of the Municipality of Teo?ak, and Mr. Alen Mulaosmanovi? was elected the President of the Assembly.



The Youth Council of the Municipality of Teo?ak is the 33rd youth council established as part of the initiative Institutional dialogue between youth and governmental authorities through the establishment of youth councils.




 

The Founding Assembly of the Youth Council of the Municipality of Kiseljak was held on 15 January 2013. The Assembly was attended by the representatives of five youth associations: UG Šareno brdo, KUD Izvor 08, Udruga mladih Kiss and Udruženje bošnja?ke omladine Gazija, as well as the representatives of the Centre for Youth Education Travnik which initiated the establishment of the Youth Council of the Municipality of Kiseljak. Mrs. Lucija Vrlji?ak was elected the President of the Assembly of the Youth Council and Mrs. Amina Hajdarevi? was elected the President of the Managing Board.


Establishment of the Youth Council in the Central Bosnia Canton is coordinated and managed by the Centre for Youth Education, in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement signed with the Institute for Youth Development KULT. As a result of this cooperation, the Youth Councils of the Municipalities of Novi Travnik, Travnik, Busova?a, Donji Vakuf and Kiseljak have been established in the Central Bosnia Canton. 



 

Ever since its establishment, the Youth Council of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo has been working very hard so as to meet the objectives set out in the Action Plan for 2012. The Youth Council members have managed to: arrange and hold meetings with the Mayor, celebrate important dates, make the Declaration on Improving the Youth Position that has been supported by 17 current Councillors, strengthen the capacities in several trainings and seminars, join the implementation process for the Youth Strategy of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo, and convince the Mayor and the Municipal Council to ensure the funds for the Youth Council of the Municipality of Stari Grad.


All these topics were discussed at the Assembly of the Youth Council of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo held at 14 p.m., on 17 January 2013.


The present were addressed by Mr. HadĹľibajri?, Mayor of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo, who said that he stressed his belief, at the Municipality Council meeting, that hard-working young people were worth investing in. He added that he would be doing so in the future as well.


 

The Founding Assembly of the Youth Council of Tešanj Municipality was held on 14 January 2013. The Assembly was attended by the representatives of five youth associations: UG Eko mladi Tešanj, Univerzalna škola sporta Tešanj, UG Mladi Šije, UG Jedinstvena organizacija mladih Jelah, Sportsko udruženje Trep?e, as well as the Mayor of Tešanj Municipality Mr. Suad Huski?, the Chairman of the Municipal Council Mr. Fuad Šiši? and the Youth Officer Mr. Mirnes Deduki?.


The Mayor of Tešanj Municipality Mr. Suad Huski? expressed his support to the Council, adding that Tešanj Municipality is one of the Municipalities that support young people and their projects. The Establishment of the Youth Council stands for another step towards building a partnership between the Municipality and the youth.
