"Institutional Dialog between Youth and the Governmental Authorities through the Establishment of Youth Councils" is a project that the Institute for Youth Development KULT is implementing in cooperation with the partners, aimed at making contributions to the democratic stabilisation and development of the civil society in BiH, and forming institutional representative youth structures, so that these structures may participate in all decision-making processes concerning youth at all levels of government. The Project will work towards establishing partnership relationships between youth organisations and governmental institutions. We want to create sustainable capacities of youth organisations in the Federation of BiH and the Brcko District, as well as the youth council in the RS in order to establish youth councils at all levels of government.
The Project will establish sustainable institutional structures that will enable effective cooperation between youth organisations in BiH.
Activities will include youth organisations and youth councils within the whole territory of BiH, with the aim to strengthen the capacity of organisations, especially from rural areas and organisations that lead women, in order for the non-governmental youth sector to become recognised as an opportunity for professional involvement and to increase the cooperation network.
The target groups are centered upon youth associations and non-formal groups of young people in the Federation of BiH, youth councils from RS (local youth councils convened by region), youth organisations from the Brčko District and the relevant ministries and bodies for young people in RS, FBiH, Brčko District and at the state level, as well as local youth officers.
The Project will comprise implementation of a training course and counselling services for youth organisations in the Federation of BiH and the Brčko District and for youth councils in the RS, advocacy and campaigns for the establishment of youth councils, a training course for the formation of the Youth Council at the level of the Federation of BiH and at the state level, and advising and lobbying the governmental authorities for developing cooperation with youth councils.
