To boost social inclusion and expand educational opportunities for young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of the Institute for Youth Development KULT met with UniCredit Bank Sarajevo to explore ways to work together.
The meeting also highlighted the successful beginning of the EduConnect BiH – Applied Learning for Inclusive Communities program, which the Institute is implementing with support from the UniCredit Foundation Edu-fund Platform. The program supports schools in introducing experiential and service learning, connecting teachers, students, and local communities through hands-on projects that build practical skills and promote social inclusion.
During the discussion, both sides highlighted the value of education as a long-term investment and the potential for collaboration between the private sector and civil society to create meaningful opportunities for young people.
The Institute’s representatives presented the program’s key components and plans for upcoming activities, while the UniCredit Bank Sarajevo team committed to supporting the expansion of positive educational practices in the community through partnership and corporate responsibility.
A key focus of the meeting was exploring ways to further support education through collaboration with the private sector, including mentorship programs and joint campaigns promoting learning through practice.
“We are grateful for the support and trust of the UniCredit Foundation and UniCredit Bank Sarajevo. Together, we are showing that investing in knowledge and community leads to real change and inspires the next generation to actively shape a better society,” said the Institute’s representatives.
The meeting paved the way for new joint initiatives that connect education, business, and the community and are intended to give young people in BiH more equal opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.
