The 10th consecutive meeting of the Advisory Youth Group, to which the Institute for Youth Development KULT was also invited, was held yesterday at the OSCE Mission in BiH (OSCE â€“ Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe). The meeting was held as a part of the 2-day official visit of Milena StoĹˇi? to BiH, as the Special Representative of the Chairman for Issues of Safety and Youth. Mrs. StoĹˇi? has been enacting the position since February 2015, and she was priory involved as the OSCE Youth Ambassador of the Swiss Program entitled â€śYouth for Safety and Cooperation in Europeâ€ť. Special representatives for issues of safety and youth represent the youth voice in the OSCE, advocate for youth interests with various stakeholders and introduce youth with the OSCE better by contributing to the influence of values and concrete activities of youth to the OSCE.
The Advisory Group was established in July 2014. It has an important role in modifying the agenda and activities of the OSCE Mission in BiH via regular consultations with employers and partners of the OSCE. The primary goals of the OSCE in BiH Youth Advisory Group are to enable youth to realize their ideas through programs of the Mission and to stimulate their sense of innovation through constructive and critical evaluation of the program activities of the Mission.
A representative of the Institute for Youth Development KULT had an opportunity to hear about the previous activities and accomplished result, as well as the activities and projects planned for the following period, and suggest and aid in the activities of the group in accordance with the knowledge and experience of KULT, as well as to discuss the challenges of the invested activities and efforts in resolving numerous youth issues in BiH.
