A draft strategic platform was developed by focusing on the needs and priorities shared by young people in Modriča during a survey and considering the resources available to the Municipality. This platform aims to guide the community in creating a supportive environment where young people can realize their full potential.
By approving the activities, measures, and programs intended for young people at their third meeting on February 12, 2024, the Coordinating and Working Body for the Development of the Youth Policy of the Municipality of Modriča confirmed its commitment to addressing youth issues.
This youth policy aims to encourage young people in Modriča to organize more effectively, seize opportunities to participate in decision-making and play a more significant role in their community through activism and volunteering.
The youth policy also proposes programs designed to promote and support the increased participation of young people in cultural and sports activities, developing youth projects, actively participating in violence prevention, and ensuring that Modriča is a safe community. Special attention was given to improving conditions in education and implementing measures to enhance the competitiveness of young people and improve their access to the labor market.
The Institute for Youth Development KULT provides professional support and collaborates with all stakeholders throughout the process to assist the Municipality of Modriča in developing a youth policy. The youth policy document, mandated by the Law on Youth Organization of Republika Srpska, is required for all local communities.
