Today, the FBiH Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Mr. Adnan Delić, and the Minister’s Assistant, Ms. Medžida Čajlaković Kulanić, visited the Institute for Youth Development KULT to strengthen cooperation and explore new opportunities to improve the position of young people in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the meeting, Minister Delić and representatives of the Institute discussed specific joint steps that could be taken to provide stronger institutional support to youth. The conversation focused on the possibility of delivering youth-relevant social services, especially in the areas of mentorship and prevention.
The Institute’s representatives talked about the organization’s work to date, highlighting activities aimed at promoting human rights in the business sector and the outcomes of the social mentorship program. They also discussed the various challenges young people and civil society organizations face today.
Minister Delić expressed the Ministry’s willingness to support different processes that contribute to systemic solutions, and announced some concrete steps that will be taken in this direction.
Today’s meeting marks an important step toward establishing a stronger dialogue between government institutions, the youth sector, and civil society organizations. It also serves as a reminder of the shared responsibility to create opportunities that will encourage young people to build their future right here at home.
