Let’s recap 2024!
For the Institute, 2024 was dynamic, exciting, creative, and of course, successful!
We contributed to the development of new youth strategies and mechanisms, established valuable partnerships, and strengthened both our own capacities and those of our partner organizations. We traveled around the country, met individuals with diverse needs and visions, and continued to support youth organizations and everyone who works with youth.
We have supported new generations through the Training for young political leaders, Training for secondary school teachers and support staff, Training for expert associates for youth work, and Training for youth officers. We also supported numerous impactful, innovative, and meaningful initiatives across various communities that have brought about change, created new opportunities for young people, and advanced advocacy efforts aimed at decision-makers.
We enhanced the knowledge and skills of a large number of local activists and worked to highlight all the positive changes that took place over the past year.
Through a series of inspiring stories, we highlighted the crucial role of youth workers in bridging the gap between young people and government institutions. We organized numerous training sessions for partner organizations, awarded POK® certificates, and throughout the year, we welcomed representatives from our partner organizations to our premises as part of the Job Shadowing program.
Through corporate volunteering, we once again donated our time and efforts, dedicating ourselves to supporting those in need. As always, this left us with another new and meaningful experience, sparking empathy, gratitude, and a renewed commitment in all of us to continue making a positive difference.
We awarded 15 new grants to organizations that want to learn, create change, and support young people in creating a better community. We reaffirmed our commitment to social responsibility by signing the Charter on Business and Human Rights alongside numerous companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, working with them to raise awareness about human rights in the workplace and promote ethical conduct.
