Job Shadowing – Support Is Key For Organisational Growth!

Today, the Institute for Youth Development KULT welcomed representatives of the Youth Council of FBiH.

Our guests spent the day sharing information and experiences with the Institute’s staff. This visit gave them the opportunity to see how the Institute operates in practice and to ask questions about anything they were curious about or felt could help them in the future work of their organization.

Support and assistance are extremely important for the growth and development of organizations. That is why the Institute selflessly offers support and encourages all organizations to be active in their communities and to become a source of support themselves.

“Today was a new experience, as we learned about how the Institute functions. Now, some of the rules and procedures are much clearer to us. We’ve been working with the Institute for a long time, and during our visit, we really felt the spirit of the organization. We received a lot of useful advice, especially regarding administration and technical matters—things that will help us work more effectively on developing our own organization and shaping our vision in terms of what should guide us in order to grow. And it’s all very different when you see it in practice, compared to reading it in documents,” said Armin Ćehić, Administrative and Financial Officer.

The Institute for Youth Development KULT has developed the concept of job shadowing, which will provide civil society organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina with a new perspective on organizational development. This concept is commonly used in professional development and involves observing everyday activities, work environments, and the application of various methods and models of work in practice.

The goal of Job Shadowing is to facilitate the exchange and transfer of knowledge and experience, along with valuable practical advice in various areas relevant to capacity building of non-governmental organizations. In addition to mentorship and human resource development, the program also aims to foster networking, encourage partnerships, and support the overall development of the civil sector.  The motivation behind creating and implementing this concept is to transfer everything positive, useful, and practical from one organization to others. These valuable opportunities to learn are very rare.

Our success in motivating others and maintaining strong partnerships are the reasons why the Institute continues hosting these visits and remains committed to strengthening organizational capacities in pursuit of a better society for all.

The Institute for Youth Development KULT thanks today’s guests and eagerly looks forward to upcoming visits!
