Institute at STARfest: Unlocking New Opportunities for Youth and Building Success Together

This year, we were proud to be part of STARfest—the fourth edition of the festival dedicated to career development!

STARfest offered a fantastic program, bringing together over 60 exhibitors, a diverse lineup of inspiring speakers, and a wide range of educational workshops and panels—all with a clear focus: to equip young people with opportunities, knowledge, and skills they need to confidently step into the labor market.  It was an ideal space for visitors to explore future paths and discover what might be relevant and valuable to their personal and professional growth.

Our team from the Institute had the opportunity to present the various programs and opportunities we offer for young people.  We particularly focused on the currently open call for the “Learn, Think and Act!” training for youth leaders,  as well as our #JOSUVIJEKSAMTU (#IMSTILLHERE) campaign.

Visitors were very engaged, asking numerous questions about the Institute’s work—what kind of skills and knowledge our trainings provide, how to apply, and how to stay informed about future opportunities offered by the Institute. We spoke with over 100 young people, many of whom were already familiar with the Institute’s work, having followed us on social media or participated in our activities.

Taking part in STARfest was a perfect opportunity not only to connect with new young people but also to establish new contacts and explore potential collaborations.  These kinds of interactions and exchanges are essential for creating new opportunities that support the development and empowerment of young people.

We’re excited about everything that lies ahead and look forward to involving the young people we met in our upcoming activities.

Together, let’s embrace the challenges and seize the opportunities for shared growth!
