City of Srebrenik Developing First Youth Strategy

The City of Srebrenik, in partnership with the Institute for Youth Development KULT, has started developing their first youth strategy. Mayor Adnan Bijelić said the city will use all the resources at its disposal to ensure that the resulting youth strategy is high-quality and able to support future youth initiatives, activities, and programs.

Srebrenik’s local government wants to create better opportunities for young people and encourage them to organize and participate in decision-making processes. The youth strategy will be evidence-based and informed by the real needs of young people in Srebrenik. To find out what these needs are, our interviewers are starting with data collection today and are expecting to speak with 370 young people about their problems and current needs.
