As part of the initiative to promote corporate social responsibility in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 13 additional companies, associations, and local units of self-government have formally signed the Charter on Business and Human Rights. By signing the Charter, the signatories commit to improving their business practices in line with internationally recognized human rights standards.
By signing the Charter, the new signatories have clearly demonstrated their commitment to building a fairer, more inclusive, and more sustainable society, while recognizing the importance of integrating human rights principles into every aspect of their operations.
The Charter on Business and Human Rights was signed by: Doboj City Administration, Municipality of Istočna Ilidža, Municipality of Novo Sarajevo, Employers’ Association of Bosnian-Podrinje Canton (BPK) Goražde, Municipality of Pale – Prača, Municipality of Vogošća, OD Rotational Dynamics Sarajevo, Chamber of Commerce of Bosnian Podrinje Canton, Municipality of Foča in the Federation of BiH, Chamber of Crafts of BPK, MPI “Mlin” d.d. Respect for human rights in business is the foundation of a modern, ethically responsible approach to management.
Companies, associations, and local government units that embed human rights principles into their business strategies help create a safer, fairer, and more inclusive working environment for all employees. Business operations must not harm communities or individuals; rather, they should actively support and contribute to their development.
These activities are implemented through the project “Improving Human Rights Corporate Accountability in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, funded by the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and carried out by the Institute for Youth Development KULT, in partnership with the Commerce Trade and Services Trade Union in BiH and the Association “Dajte nam šansu.”
We invite other companies, institutions, and local governments to join this important process and help foster a business environment grounded in respect for human dignity, equality, and the fundamental rights of all citizens.

Together, we are building a more responsible society!
