The Pro-Future project has been continuously providing grants to the aforementioned groups, to help them contribute to the process of reconciliation and trust building in BiH, advocate for peace, work on the collective vision of a stable future and connect local communities. This year, the applicants had a chance to share their ideas and proposals that concern the Platform for Peace, which is a result of years of intensive work within the PRO-Future project in more than 70 local communities in BiH.

USAID, through the PRO-Future project and the Institute for Youth Development KULT, are issuing a Public Call for funding small projects. 

The Pro-Future project has been continuously providing grants for initiatives aimed at reconciliation and building trust in BiH, advocating for peace and a collective vision for a stable future, while connecting local communities. 

 

Groups eligible to apply to public calls are: youth associations, informal youth groups, associations of victims of war, Churches and religious communities and NGOs dedicated to promoting interreligious dialogue, CSOs and municipalities/cities where the PRO-Future project is being implemented.

This year, applicants are expected to create ideas and proposals in line with the Platform for Peace that resulted from intensive, long-term efforts of the PRO-Future project in local communities in BiH. 

USAID's PRO-Future project is implemented by Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in cooperation with Caritas BiH, the Institute for Youth Development KULT, Interreligious Council of BiH (MRV), Citizens' Forum Tuzla (FGT), Helsinki Parliament of the citizens of Banja Luka (hCA) and the Nansen Dialogue Center (NDC).

Public Call areas 

Project proposals must concern peace building and trust building in BiH. 

Funds, i.e. small grants will be available for the following initiatives/activities/areas:

  • Support to youth ;
  • Support to CSOs;
  • Support to associations of victims of war;
  • Support to Churches, religious communities and organizations focused on promoting interreligious dialogue; 
  • Small grants for initiatives of municipalities/cities.

Do you remember positive stories from various parts of our country - from actions of young people working in solidarity in their municipalities/cities after the floods to joining forces to explore the richness of our country. Drom sports events that connected various communities, to visiting cultural and historical heritage sites to study, understand diversity and strengthen dialogue.
