PRO-Future is issuing the second public call, which is open to: associations of war victims, churches and religious communities and non-governmental organizations focused on promoting inter-religious dialogue and committees for inter-religious cooperation.

The applicants are required to shape their ideas and proposals in accordance with the Platform for Peace (click here for more information), which is the result of years of intensive work within the PRO-Future project in local communities across BiH.

Youth, informal groups, associations of war victims, NGOs dedicated to promoting interreligious dialogue and municipalities/cities where the PRO-Future project is implemented submitted their ideas and projects focused on building peace and trust.

We are pleased to inform you that 56 PROJECT PROPOSALS HAVE BEEN APPROVED and will be implemented soon.

The Pro-Future project has been continuously providing grants to the aforementioned groups, to help them contribute to the process of reconciliation and trust building in BiH, advocate for peace, work on the collective vision of a stable future and connect local communities. This year, the applicants had a chance to share their ideas and proposals that concern the Platform for Peace, which is a result of years of intensive work within the PRO-Future project in more than 70 local communities in BiH.

Grants for initiatives that contribute to the reconciliation process, build trust in BiH, advocate for peace, promote a common vision for a stable future and connect local communities are continuously provided funds through small grants awarded by USAID’s PRO-Future project.

The public call is open to: youth associations, informal youth groups, associations of civilian war victims, Churches and religious communities and NGOs focused on promoting interreligious dialogue, CSOs and municipalities/cities where the PRO-Future project is implemented.

This year, the applicants are required to shape their ideas and proposals in accordance with the Platform for Peace (click for more information), which is a result of years of intensive work within the PRO-Future project in local communities across BiH.

Application deadline and procedure

The project proposals must concern peacebuilding and building trust in BiH.

Funds, i.e. small grants will be available for activities/initiatives in the areas listed below.

Do you remember positive stories from various parts of our country - from actions of young people working in solidarity in their municipalities/cities after the floods to joining forces to explore the richness of our country. Drom sports events that connected various communities, to visiting cultural and historical heritage sites to study, understand diversity and strengthen dialogue.
