SPAJLICA's vision  

The vision of the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA is a society which enables young people to become satisfied and socially responsible citizens, while spending their leisure time in a purposeful manner.

SPAJALICA's mission

SPAJALICA, as one of the leading socially responsible youth centres in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with all interested parties, takes part in reaching and implementing decisions on improving the position of youth, delivers accessible and innovative training courses and activities that enable young people to pursue non-formal education and complement their leisure time, in line with the assessed needs. SPAJALICA's employees and volunteers have an equal position, share the same convictions and respect active participation of individuals, and treat their environment responsibly.

The Educational-Leisure Center for Youth SPAJALICA celebrated its 9th birthday.


SPAJALICA was officially opened on August 26, 2008 and has been the only youth center in IlidĹľa municipality for the past nine years, offer youth a place to meet, learn new things, engage in non-formal education and socialize.


This year as well, the Center’s users participated in extra-curricular activities, foreign language courses, trainings, ballet lessons, creative workshops.

The many activities offered in SPAJALICA is the School of Friendship, which offers kids opportunities to socialize with their peers, learn while playing, get help with their homework, and recognize their potentials.


Since last year, the Center also offers the Brainobrain Kids Academy, one of the leading world programs fo developing intellectual and life skills of children aged 4-14. The program is designed to allow children to develop and use their potential.


Every year, more than 2000 youth and children use the Centre’s services, and our team is always working on introducing more activities for our users, with the ultimate goal of improving the lives of youth in Ilidža and beyond.


The Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth will continue acting as a space for empowering youth and offering additional education, and all the content will be tailored to their needs and wishes. 


 

The Educational-Leisure Center for Youth SPAJALICA celebrated its 8th birthday on Sunday, August 28, 2016.


The birthday party of SPAJALICA was attended by numerous citizens for whom the Center members organized a multi-hour entertainment program.


Age-appropriate activities were organized for all the visitors. The younger ones enjoyed games without borders, different sports activities, social games and creative workshops, as well as spending time with previous Center users, training attendants and volunteers.

“We are happy that the celebration was attended by a vast number of citizens because this is a confirmation that the Center users enjoy and appreciate what we do for them. The Educational-Leisure Center for Youth SPAJALICA has represented an area in which the users can spend their leisure time with a purpose for the past eight years. The Center in fact offers them an area for learning, socializing and entertainment, and there are not many areas with this purpose today” – stated Vesna Filipovi?, the Center Manager.


SPAJALICA, as one of the leading socially responsive youth centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina participates in enacting and implementation of decisions concerning improvements in the position of youth and implements accessible and innovative trainings and activities for their non-formal education and leisure activities.


“I enjoy all activities of SPAJALICA. It is an area in which I have learned many things in a fun manner and made many friends. The birthday party is another unforgettable experience for me” – stated Emina, a user of the Center.

The Educational-Leisure Center for Youth SPAJALICA will have different working hours during August. 


Because of vacations, the Center will be open from 8 am to 4:30 pm.


We will be closed on August 15, 2017.

Guests of honor will be the attendants of the 1. UMiD Generation that participated in cleaning and renovating the Center 10 years ago.
